The Family Reunion Centre has been established since 2002 as a non-denominational welfare organisation. The members of our organisation have years of experience in care centre’s and therefore it makes us unique in Krugersdorp, The Boland and Western Cape regions in South Africa.
Project Food For Life caters for 160 children on a daily basis with an estimated cost of
R400.00 per child per month. On a monthly basis we make up food parcels for pensioners
that need assistance, once in a while, when the government pension does not close all the gaps.( We receive no assistance from the state.) The cost of food has increased dramatically over the last year to an estimated R400.00 to R500.00 per 2 pensioners per month.
The centre provides training to individuals and teaches them skills to find work more easily in the form of Telesales training etc.
We are in desperate need for food and financial support for our soup kitchen and the other
Food For Life projects. Our transport department also needs a kombi/bus to transport our
old people and children to and from the clinic etc. The constuction of a soup kitchen at Amstelhof primary is now underway and nearing completion.
Your donation of R 400.00 or more will be used to buy food for our soup kitchens this year, for this we will send you a GIFT as a token of appresiation. Our sponsorship for the year is R4800.00 per child
Last but not least we are always glad to meet our donors, so, feel free to drop in for a cup of tea and a chat. We will arange for you to visit our soup kitchens during school lunch hour.
